I've visited this location for random reasons, on several occasions, since it's on the way to where I live and due to experiencing difficulties reaching somebody through the phone. (5 out of 6 times that I have called, I get a machine). However, I've visited to find out about boarding services (they used to provide them and not anymore), vaccine prices and to buy my cat's UTI prevention prescribed food when Petsmart is out of stock. Dr. T has saved our 14 year old dog's life 3 times. The usual medication for Cushing's disease did not work and gave our dog hallucinations. We thought we were going to have to put him to sleep. Dr. T suggested trying Chinese herbs [he is certified]. These worked and our baby is doing great, even playing with toys again. Dr. T seems knowledgeable. I took my dog for annual check up. First time I went (when I first rescued my dog, saved up $ for months b/c I was a poor college student but want the best for my dog), I was haven a free sample of Frontline Plus. He tried to sell me toothbrush kit for double what petsmart was selling. I came back couple years later b/c Frontline Plus stopped working and the other brands didn't work either, he recommended this Vectra 3D (doesn't work half the time). The vet at Eastwood Animal Hospital was able to cure our cat with a chronic sneezing & congestion problem. We had been taking our cat to the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital and the vet there kept asking us to order alternative remedies and herbs online. After 2 years with no results, we switched to Eastwood Animal Hospital. The vet ran a thorough series of tests and gave us a prescription. this vet is wonderful! my dog was so sick and they took really good care of him. he actually loves going to see them too. their staff is always really nice.
It is very disappointing to see that our google review regarding our dog- Messiah was deleted without acknowledgment. It's unfortunate that we have to submit another review just to share our experience. Transparency and accountability are important, and sadly, we did not receive either. I recently took my rescued kitten to this clinic's sister hospital, Maitland Animal Hospital. When leaving the clinic, a technician, who is also the Maitland location's manager, failed to zip her carrier. While he was carrying her to my car, she escaped and he proceeded to chase her behind the clinic, across train tracks and into the surrounding neighborhood. In light of current circumstances worldwide, you'd think a little compassion and understanding would go a long way. Clearly that's not what I experienced today as I asked for a 1 day extension to fulfill VIP program benefits that were part of the VIP membership that I bought last year.
