Don't bother. Stayed in four hotels over extended labor day weekend. Easily the poorest of all. Condition, cleanliness & staff all sub par.
Got what we paid for Just a place to stay for the night, definitely wouldn't choose it again though. Owners not friendly, rooms smelled bad despite being "non-smoking", and sheets were stained. More or less what was expected for the price.
American Inn this hotel is very old in a remote western nebraska town. it needs a lot of updating BUT the rooms were real clean the staff very pleasant and a waffle/biscuits and gravy etc breakfast was appreciated.
It is a dive It was cheap, but that is about all there is to say. Outdated and unclean. Won't be staying there again.
Avoid at all cost. First room I was given had did not have 2 beds reserved, TV did not work and no controls for it. Picked up phone to call front desk to complain and the phone had no phone line to it, didn't work. Next room had tv that worked, controls had battery taped into back. Had to be caerful using it or battery would fall out. Rug looked like it had not been cleaned in forever. NO coffee pot on room!! Sheets on both beds looked like they had been cleaned. Don't stay here,
Not Impressed Better building maintenance is needed. Cleanliness was OK. Building is generally outdated inside and out. Soda/snack machines were conveniently located.
Better to sleep in your car. (seriously) Alliance Nebraska is a beautiful little town with one exception. The American Inn was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. I have stayed in 2 dollar a night hotels in bangkok that were better. There was NO TOILET PAPER!!! really. I went to the front desk and the receptionist told me there was none left. Disgusting Hotel that should be torn down This is not a place to stay if you value hygiene, cleanliness, and comfort. YUCK!
the dirtest room,not ready at check in room wasn't ready at check in time,checked in 1 hour late,room was filthy,no phone service the week end,night staff had no axcess to anything. would not stay there again ,[...]
