Nice, clean affordable, close to everything Staff is friendly and you are well received. Parking has been cut back with current construction next door but plenty in back. There are cheaper places in town and you will regret it....seriously. The Truman has been consistent in service for the 7 years I stay monthly in Sedalia.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. I needed some extra towels and another, he asked what room I was in and within 10 min. he had them at my door. It's really nice when someone is happy to help you.
towel and sheets had stains. breakfast was very poor.
We were involved in a state-wide mission resource event held at the state fair grounds. We spent one night at the motel.
Go Elsewhere if You Have the Opportunity The hotel was overpriced for the quality of customer service and quality of the room. There was an event in town and beggars can’t be choosers. The seemed overwhelmed by the amount of traffic that weekend. I’ve stayed in worse, but I expected more for the price. The upside was he pool, hot tub, and sauna. The downside was the breakfast. I don’t expect much for a free breakfast, but it was not nearly as good as you would find elsewhere.
Oct 2017 A good stay, nice place. Convenient for my needs. For weekends they could have breakfast a little later, maybe until 9 or 9:30. Pool & Sauna nice to relax.
Friendly and clean Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Have stayed here several times and will again. Great place for the price and would recommend to anyone.
