Poor Security Well the outside of the hotel was nice and clean and updated. Same for the lobby. The rooms however were not in quite as nice of shape. The coverlet for the bed in my single king room was torn and frayed all over it. The bed itself was poorly made. Fitted sheet was coming completely off in one corner. The furniture and appliances left something to be desired. They were all relatively old and out dated. The plaque on the wall explaining the internet set-up and troubleshooting was for Windows 95/98 and 2000/xp. T... read more

A little Disappointed Overall our experience was very pleasant..A little problem at check in but was quickly resolved. Very comvientiantly locateted to eateries and state fair which is what we were there for..but don't ask for extra pillows during the night shift you'll never get them. If you want a place to stay that is kid friendly and relaxing stay here.

We had to change rooms After checking in and not having the king room that we booked available we were given a room that had only one bedspread on one of the two beds in the room and the other bed looked as if the bed had been used with the pillows proped up and indented with a head print. The bed spread was wrinkled up and there was a 5$ bill left on the nightstand. The front desk person did not seemed alarmed that someone had been in the room. In addition the back door leading to the hall didn't have a lock or key only acc... read more

OK if nothing else is available An older hotel with a fresh outside. The room was bearable, but I don't think I'll be going back there.

The room was not bad the pool was very nice, but was a little disappointed in the complimentary breakfast first day they were almost out of everything and the same was true the second day, and not a very good selection.

Convenient for Air Force Base visitors OK hotel, great decor of historic Air force and military posters, etc. Not so clean room. pistachios on floor next to bed after we had been there for 3 nights and nobody ate those during our stay so they must have been from the last guest. Bathroom not really updated and tiny indoor pool, but my 10 year old enjoyed his swim. $1.25 per day charge for "in room safe". Breakfast food item barely passable. Cold cereal, toast, coffee, juice, apples, oranges, powdered scrambled eggs and biscui... read more
