ROACH MOTEL ROACHES NOT CLEANED ROOM BAD BAD BAD
ROACH MOTEL The first room they gave me had not been made up at about 4 PM, so they switched me . This one had ROACHES crawling on the wall. I have stayed several times at this location but never ever again. If roaches came home with me expect a exterminator bill
NO WIFI INTERNET OWNERS HAVE TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING ENGLISH AND THE WIFI IS ALWAYS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THEY DELETED AND CHANGED SOME SETTINGS ON MY LAPTOP. I HAD TO GET IT FIXED AND AM NOY HAPPY. SO FORGET THEIR WIFI INTERNET AND DON'T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR LAPTOP.
Missing Amenities Wanted a late snack, machine out of order. Not able to take a hot tub, tub out of order, For breakfast wanted juice, machine out of order. Fixed a waffle on a home grade waffle maker, waffle done on the bottom not on top. Fixed a bagel took 2 packets of cream cheese, spread the cream cheese, took a bite and the cream cheese had been frozen so the texture was grainy couldn't eat it. To top off the experience the doughnuts were stale.
Never stay at econolodge Bed was not changed from previous stay had blood and hair in it. Hotel desk came to change sheet. Had to demand they change all sheets and pillow case. Still ended up not getting top sheets and was not impressed when asked to speak with manager and was told they would be there at 10am. Returned at 11am still not able speak with manager. Was told that they would call but still have not heard for them. Problably been ripped off but will never stay at an econlodge again. Will take my chance sleeping on ... read more
Little Things (or Lack of) Mean a Lot Until I complained, the clerk didn't want to let us check in an hour or so early unless we would pay extra. When we got to the room we discovered the TV remote didn't work. The same clerk came to the room and tried to make it work. When he couldn't he showed me a button on the back of the TV and said just push it to turn the TV on. I'm pretty sure there were empty rooms with good TV remotes. Location good Older hotel. Reasonably clean, except stains on the walls/doors that came off easy with water. Breakfast was a waste of time - the orange and apple juices had fermented - little or poor selection.
They don't leave the light/ac on for you. The breakfast bar is all carbs. They don't offer anything that is protein based. It doesn't work for a low carb diet. When we checked in, it was late and the ac was not on in our room, so it was very hot upon our arrival. We turned it on immediately, and after giving it 2 hours to cool off (while we tried to get some sleep), it was not cool.
