Old Ramada Inn has seen better days. Desk clerk argued with me saying I had a smoking room when my reservation (in hand) clearly stated non smoking. Police made a lap around the parking lot clearly watching me unload my car. And when they say Pets Welcome??? $35 a night for a pet.....that is more than half a room rate.

Worse experience EVER! We had made our reservation through Expedia for a one night stay. When I made the reservation, I explained I was a University of Missouri employee and should receive a discount. The gentleman on the phone said, "when you check in, they will give you your employee discount then". When we arrived, the hotel manager, who was very rude, told me that is not possible since Expedia already collected our money. Served our purpose The location was very convenient, and the desk staff were nice and polite, but not overly friendly. They were very good to make sure we had a non-smoking room. They have nice carts to put your luggage on, but no elevator if your room isn't on the ground floor. The room was ok, and the beds were comfortable, but they were not as clean as I would have liked. Go elsewhere if you can Initially this hotel botched my reservation. They stuck us (with asthmatic child) in a smoking room when we had booked non-smoking. We would have changed hotels if something else would have been available within 50 miles, but it wasn't. This is an old building that hasn't been properly maintained or updated. The entire place, not just the room, was dirty. I won't go into details, but we were afraid to touch anything in the bathroom. There were roaches in our room. Coffee pots did not work. We had three coffee pots brought to our room and none of them worked. We won't be staying there again.

Hope you don't like to eat breakfast The pool is super small, never any towels available. Walls are paper thin. No locks on outside entry doors to the sides of the hotel. The breakfast included in the price of your stay ends at 8:30 a.m. On the weekends, and there's hardly anything offered. When we went into the breakfast room with our kids, there was nothing left but bread for toast. The waffle batter was gone, biscuits were gone, and even the milk for the cereal was gone.
