The staff is incredible. Ever member was so willing to help out in any way possible. Theh made sure I was taken care off whenever I had issues with the building. The building itself is old and run down. I did have some issues such as a broken shower head, brown water, unable to enter to room, but the staff took cafe of those issues.

It was a good experience living at EHS New Yorker this summer. The room seemed smaller than pictures represented, but the location of the New Yorker was very convenient which made my situation better.

Mainly, I consider the residence a little expensive, taking into account that the stay is only for five months. And when it comes to the amenities such as the laundry, the dryers are not very efficient.

Overall I enjoyed my experience at EHS. All I would say is that I encountered room issues and had to move three times.

The New Yorker Residence experience was a wonderful opportunity to have. I met my closest college friends through living there. I would say a major problem is the maintenance. I requested my bathroom self to be fixed when first arriving, and it took almost a month for anything to happen. I know my friend had a similar issue with a leak in her shower, and it wasn’t addressed until her bathroom ceiling collapsed and opened up the ceiling and they could not use their shower. I’ve had several issues with the room and most of the time they were resolved in a timely manner. The location is great. The staff is friendly and nice. I like how there’s weekly events.
