The kitchen got a bit too busy sometimes. My shower was crap, and even though smoking wasn't allowed, the elevator and halls often smelled of weed and cigarettes. I appreciated the building security though and the proximity to my job.

Last semester a fellow John Jay student who lives in the dorms (Christopher Difonzo) sexually harassed me. He threatened to break down my door in the middle of the night, tie me up and rape me. He stopped texting me after I said I was going to our school’s public safety office and to housing. After I made my claim, no one did anything. This person still lives here with no repercussions.
