My mother lived here and she always stated how good the food was at every meal, how friendly all of the employees are, how clean the facility had been kept and that she enjoyed her time at this community.

I help with activities for the seniors at Elison. The atmosphere is unlike any other I've experienced in senior living. The staff at Elison have a genuine gentle and caring nature. They care about getting the residents involved in activities and outings. The residents I've assisted in activities say they love being there and having the chance to participate in things they couldn't before. It's a great place for seniors and I look forward to helping as long as I can.

Elison of Marietta looked like a great facility. All of the staff answered all of our questions and followed up. We thought out loved one would still be driving and he is not very familiar with this area and it is pretty far from us. That was the main reason we did not choose them.

We chose Elison of Marietta because we thought he would be most comfortable here and it could not have turned out to be more perfect for him The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They are very open to him having visitors. He loves his apartment, he has a big window that looks out to an open field. He gets to watch the deer come across the land and watched them bail hay in the fall. He raves about the food. I live out of state, but I have heard no complaints from my family members that live close by and visit often. I would definitely recommend Elison of Marietta to other families looking.

I think their problem other than being short handed is that they got taken over in November and I think that is causing a lot of the problems. The staff do really mean well and they try their best. It still is just not what it needs to be for my loved one. They have lots of activities provided, but no one ever makes sure my loved one gets there or encourages her to go, so she is in her room a lot. This is a good place. They have a lot of different activities. They have church services, arts and crafts for my loved one to do. The staff encourage my loved one to go and play a apart in the activities.

Our family has had no issues with this community even during the height of the pandemic. What we really like is their communication from the family patient concierge. They truly showed our loved one compassion and have her best interest at heart.
