Dr. Long was very patient. She took the time to listen to my concerns and to inform me about my situation. She was very reassuring and answered all of my questions. She gave me a lot of information and I left feeling confident about the procedure to come.
Dr. Long is fantastic! I have seen her for two procedures and both times she was friendly, caring, and explained things thoroughly. She has a great sense of humor and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Dr Long has been amazing. She actually talks to you and let's you know what is going on. She doesn't try to talk down to you and her communication through the whole process has been wonderful. I had talked to other surgeons before her but did not like any of them. She made me completely comfortable and did an amazing job. I can't say anything but great things about her.
Dr. Long did a very good job of explaining what to expect from the operation and a very good job with the surgery itself. I am very pleased with results.
Horrible! I trusted her as she took out my gallbladder and fixed an igunial hernia too!! When I had a huge hiatal hernia she attempted to repair by hand knowing other hospitals had a robot. That failed. 2nd surgery she didn't disclose less than 100 surgeries with the robot. Twisted my stomach and I almost died. 3rd surgery done at SMH 8 days later and I lived!!! I have lifelong medical issues now bc of her!!! Dr Blake wasn't helpful either. Heard many stories of patients that died in Dr Long's care!!! She should lose her lic... read more
Dr. Long performed a colonoscopy on me three years ago. At the time a polyp was found, however Dr. Long did not remove it, stating that it was difficult to get to, and it looked to be hyperplastic anyway. My PCP, upon hearing that she did not remove the polyp stated that we would definitely use a different doctor next time. I had a follow-up colonoscopy to have the polyp she discovered removed and just received a call from the clinic stating that the polyp was in fact pre-cancerous.
