Chris was a friendly salesman and let me know exactly what I needed. He showed up right on time. I got three other quotes and Chris was the lowest. A co-worker of mine used Chris and highly recommended him. The job was scheduled for about six weeks later. I was happy to get a call from Chris saying the windows would be installed in four weeks. After receiving 5 quotes, we found Emerald City. Chris provided a quote that was 30% less than anyone else. Chris was also able to identify several small changes to enhance the overall look of the work without increasing the cost. We booked the work and Chris was able to schedule the installation 5 weeks out. The crew did a great job installing the windows and left the house clean. They did a very good job. The presentation was pretty good actually. We had a little few minor things that had to be redone. They came back and fixed them. The price was very competitive. I would definitely hire them again in the future.
These guys are fantastic. We had four different companies out to provide estimates and we picked Emerald City because we trusted them to do the job right, the estimate seemed fair, and we liked their product better than the one offered by the company with the cheapest estimate. Chris, the estimator, was very professional. He took a lot of time to answer my many questions, and was responsive in returning my calls. I did sometimes feel rushed in trying to process his answers, but he is a very busy man. His estimate of when the installation would take place and how long it would take were dead on. This is the second time we have used Emerald City Energy. We used this company when we replaced our windows approximately 5 years ago. Chris is always prompt and polite; he takes very good care of his customers, and remembered us. Our windows for addition project arrived on time and without problems. Compared prices with another company and Emerald City had competitive pricing.
They were very prompt and extremely efficient to watch. They did a good job. I'm very pleased with the new windows and would recommend them to anyone.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH EMERALD CITY ENERGY WAS GOOD. THEY REPLACED TWO WINDOWS. THEY CLEANED UP AND WERE CAREFUL OF OUR LANDSCAPING OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS. ALSO CLEANED UP THE INSIDE MESS AND TOOK CARE OF THE CARPET.
Started the process end of August 2021 and windows were installed Feb. 4 2022. I guess it takes a long time now for Milgard to build windows so the delay isnt the contractors fault. Installation didnt go well. Seems there was a lack of communication between the person that bid the job and the installers. Arched windows need arched brick molding. The installers arrived with none. They had to reuse the arched part of the brick mold that they had split the ends when they tore it down to remove the original windows. I don't thin... read more

We apologize for our errors on your project. No good excuse, our install team did not have the custom exterior arched brickmold trim when they arrived for install. As you pointed out in our multiple discussions since, they worked hard and completed the project. We offered to replace the trim ourselves, our even hire another contractor or compensate you to reinstall yourself since you have extensive construction experience.
