Dr Marks is a fantastic pain Dr. I've been seeing him around 6 years now and I sm travel from Wilmington to Chapel Hill to see him. I've had a few pain doctors in the past (CRPS for almost 18years), but Dr Marks is fantastic. He also deals with my severe insomnia and anxiety both, and keeps up with all of my general well-being and autoimmune issues. Very knowledgeable and empathetic as well. As a former nurse, it's great to find a doctor like him.
He takes time to and talk to me. He really seems to care about my health and wants to help.
This was my first visit with Dr Marks but based on this visit I am impressed with his knowledge, manner and interest in his patient. He spent considerable time with me listening to my many and overlapping complaints and offered what I consider a thoughtful and professional approach to my issues.
He is Professional, Understanding, Listens, He does Whatever he can to Make Sure his Patients get The Best of Care and and his time. Been with him at 15 Years!!!
Dr Marks has been helping me for years now thru my chronic pain issues. He has always genuinely treated me well and looked for different ways to treat the pain. He really listens to what’s happening to your issues to change treatments as necessary. I’m blessed to have such a great doctor.
Dr. Marks has changed my life. When I came to him the first time for a consult, I was on entirely too many benzodiazepines and stimulants. He listened, cared, and worked with me to get me to a place where I’m much happier and much more clearheaded. He is knowledgeable in so many areas of medicine that other doctors are not. He spends time with his patients to see what they really need before prescribing. I trust his judgment completely.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Marks for about six years now. He is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He takes the time to listen and works on finding what medication works best for me in my situation. I would recommend Dr. Marks to anyone who will listen.
