Dr Popa is kind and caring. He makes you feel relaxed and like you can trust him to give you great care. He also has sense of humor he allows you to see him as a person. He listens and he jokes with you.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Popa and let me say it was the absolute BEST EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had at any medical facility EVER!! Dr. Popa was professional, knowledgeable and his bedside manner exceeds anything I’ve experienced as a patient and as a nurse working in a hospital. He took time to hear my concerns and desires for my care offered suggestions for a plan forward and not once did I ever feel rushed even though I’m sure he had a full load. If you need a no-nonsense doctor to help you with back pain, I highly recommend EmergeOrtho in Clayton. All of the staff from the receptionists to the nurses to Dr. Madsen treated me with respect by listening to me to then telling me the treatment recommended.
