Dr. Hallows was very personable and helpful in explaining my knee pain related to my long-term arthritis. He explained options and ultimately gave me a cortisone injection to help ease the pain.
I went in expecting a surgical consult about damage to my thumb injured in a fall complicated by some minor arthritis in that hand. She has a great bedside manner. She also told me a cortisone shot might be all I needed, explained that it does cause blood sugar to rise a lot for days. That is important in my case but I decided to manage that as my lifestyle is very active. After months of a prolonged discovery process with a large and well respective provider, I got a second opinion at EmergeOrtho for my hip pain.
