Dr. Takenaga is a absolutely the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever dealt with. He always comes with a smile, very knowledgeable and though I came to see him for my Rotar Cuff injury and I was told I needed surgery on both shoulders. Dr. Takenaga decided to try a steroid injection and to my pleasure it has helped relieve some of the pain (anything is better than nothing) Thank you Dr. Takenaga, I truly appreciate you!
I am so appreciative for the excellent care I received from Dr Rosenblum. He was amazing!! I saw him for shoulder pain following a MVI. My injuries required rotator cuff surgery with a bicep reattachment which went exceptionally well. Prior to surgery he exhausted every resource before considering an MRI & surgery. I trusted his judgment and thoughtful decisions. He was compassionate and listened to all my concerns. I have now regained my full range of motion & strength thanks to him & his team.
I can't say enough about Doug. He is amazing! Thanks to him I have fully recovered from rotator cuff & bicep reattachment surgery. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, caring and I completely trusted his judgment and skill. He was very personable and made every visit a pleasure to come to. He motivated & encouraged me to work hard and achieve my goals. He always pushed me physically during each session but never beyond what I could handle. I strongly recommend him to anyone needing PT!!
Dr. Silvers in my opinion is probably one of the best Shoulder surgeons in the area. A little background, I have a grade III shoulder separation from a Mountain Biking accident; all Docs say Grade iii is not a required surgery - to me it was. After interviewing 3 surgeons, I chose Dr. Silver because of his demeanor and because he utilizes the latest techniques including dissolving screws. Excellent outcome 2 weeks later. Be your own advocate and choose wisely. Thank you, Dr. Silver!

Dr. Gilbert performed a highly successful hip replacement surgery for me a little over a month ago. His PA Al Teel and the team at Emerge Ortho offered excellent care and support before and after surgery. The surgery itself was performed at NC Specialty Hospital. I was impressed with the care and the efficiency and speed of discharge. Before the procedure, Dr. Gilbert always presented all treatment options and made sure it was my choice to have surgery.
Incredible Doctor, very personable, kind and down to earth. Highly recommend. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars.
This was my second surgery on the same foot, so I was afraid the surgery would not be successful, but Dr. Viens is an excellent surgeon and I am so glad I saw him for a second opinion! He was honest with me and answered all my questions. He and his staff were with me and my husband throughout our 12-week journey. They never took long to get an answer to me by phone or portal. I could not be more pleased with my results. Dr. Viens is an outstanding doctor!
I can highly recommend Dr. Baerman. She was willing to take the time to explain everything to me and the after care I received was exceptional.
