I was referred to Dr. Shadduck by my Primary Care Physician for exploring whether I needed hernia surgery. I met with him twice and found him caring, informed and very collaborative. We talked about the pros and cons of having surgery at this time and decided that I would "wait and see." I felt valued for my intelligence and ability to sort out all the considerations Dr. Shadduck presented. He would be the #1 general surgeon that I would recommend in the Triangle Area of North Carolina.
I too disagree the the negative comments here. I found Dr. Arcedo very friendly and caring. I thought he did an excellent job with the test (on my wrist) and write-up he sent to my referring doctor. I would not hesitate going to him again and would highly recommend him to others.
I had a hip arthroscopy performed by Doctor Hage and it went very smoothly as did recovery. Dr. Hage is very professional and takes the time to get to know you and your problem in order to assist you properly. I highly recomment Dr. Hage; especially if you need any hip work done.

dr shadduck was a true pro. and very caring and compassionate. He operated on my Robin and she is doing great.
Dr Viens surgically stabilized my ankle with a plate and screws promising the ankle would be more stable and the recuperation shorter than the traditional weeks and weeks in a cast. The results have proven him absolutely correct. He and his professional staff are very responsive to questions, answering emails within hours. Office appointments are convenient to get to. The NC Speciality Hospital where the surgery was performed was equally accessible with patient centered care foremost.

Hands down one of the best shoulder surgeons in Raleigh! If you have shoulder pain this is the guy to see. Personable and skilled and even gave me his cell phone if I had any issues. Thank you Dr. Wilson!
Dr Romine is the best there is!! He is friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient, well trained, and extremely thorough. His office staff is warm and pleasant. I will never go to another Ortho and highly recommend him to all of my friends and family! He performs flawless surgery and his follow up is impeccable. A++++
