RecommendedI have been going to Emerge Ortho for some time now for chronic back issues and would highly recommend them to anyone that wants to get to the root of a chronic problem that many have not been sure how to proceed with. They can offer solutions and options on how to manage your challenges through physical therapy, exercise and pain management.
Dr. J. Mack Aldridge performed successful surgery on my hand recently. EmergeOrtho has wonderful staff and doctors. They are friendly, professional and provide great service. Highly recommend if you’re in need of hand surgery.

I have been going to Emerg for a number of years before the merger. I had an acute knee crisis Monday afternoon getting worse thru the night. I went to Emerg Urgent Care Tuesday morning, was seen quickly and had Brian Wood PS-C looking after me. He treated me very well, gave me plenty of time and answered all of my questions. More importantly, I could not walk when I got there, but by late afternoon I was up and about fairly well. Brian and Emerg Ortho are tops in my book!
I was having an issue with my thumb. After doing some research, I learned about EmergOrtho's urgent care. Check-in/ registration was easy, my wait time was short, the staff was friendly & compassionate, and my treatment was effective. I have been attending EmergeOrtho for 3 years now. I was referred by my Primary Dr. Dr. Fancis and I am so happy I accepted. Dr. l. Bowen is the best. She cares about her Patient's. You are not just a number waiting to be seen. She covers everything with you. step by step. She eliminates problems and not just try new treatments. Her Assistant Gail is the best also. Dr Thomas Dimmig and Andrew Zimmerman are such caring professionals, as are others on the team. I had surgery today and back home by the dinner hour. Walking erect for the first time in years. Everyone I met at NC Specialty Hospital was concerned and attentive. Thanks to all.
Friendly and very competent staff. All of my doctors there (shoulder and knee surgery) are excellent and I would recommend Emerge ortho to anyone!
