RecommendedThis facility and their amazing nurses/techs made me feel so comfortable after months of being hospitalized due to COVID complications and while I did not recover at the facility, I left stronger and more knowledgeable which has helped me in my recovery at home. I appreciate the staff including my case manager, therapists, nurses, techs, the janitorial staff and just everyone. Amazing crew. Only complaint was Dr. Elliot lacking bedside manner and being very cold. Everyone else, phenomenal!

Recommendedmy mother has been to Encompass Rehab 3 times this year. yes she was a sick lady and had a lot going on with her health. She asked each time to go to Encompass instead of a nursing home rehab, because she knew she would get the best therapy and care possible. staff treated her with dignity, respect and.much patience. RecommendedI would just like to say that Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital formerly Healthsouth is an AMAZING place. This hospital strives for excellence. Both my mom and dad have been here and received top notch care. Everyone is so nice and helpful.��� My parents both received excellent care during their stay.

I was sent here by UAB in February after open heart surgery. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. The 3rd day of being left in piss and the nurses unplugging my call buttons and alarms, I called Dothan P.D. because they refused to let me leave. The Officer responded to my room, then went and talked to whoever was in charge, came back and let me know they were contacting my wife to come and get me. Medical and medicine not right. Can’t get medicine delivered to patient, or help for bathroom. Nurses was not worried about giving medicine to help Just done with this place
