I am here now under different last name. some staff are good but change in meds from night to night is very fishy. nurses on floor 237 day had headphones in listening to music . very poor service. no companion. I will check out early and ho home. Rather be alone then.plus they have not even given me any water since pm shift
My dad was admitted here after his hip surgery, was deemed untreatable due to his poor attitude, sent elsewhere to be put on a ton of meds that almost killed him just to calm him down, and after all that they refused to even have him back. Now he can’t even walk because they never provided the physical therapy he needed, despite his mood being perfectly under control. They also refuse to release his medical records to us to see what really happened.
Do not recommend this facility at all.

on the Fourth day of my mothers stay they decided her discharge date. she was admitted to gain strength for surgery. at one week they planned to send her home. on sunday before her monday discharge she has a heart attack. clearly the clients health is not what they are concerned with. we all knew she was too weak to come home after just a week. now she is back in the hospital.

NEVER go to Encompass Health. I will never recommend this place to anyone! At discharge, the pharmacist talked about my Dads medications and discharge instructions at the nursing station and not in private. I should have called HIPPA violation on that! And they removed his stuff from his room while he was at PT (who has a right to touch your stuff when you are not in the room? Thats a liability and lawsuit waiting to happen if something came up missing) and moved him out of his room before i got there to get him. They had hi... read more
