RecommendedOur experience here is the Staff truly cares about their patients. The second day we met the CEO John just walking the halls and helping in anyway he can. That’s how we met him! My husband needed help back into his bed. And John walked up and ask if he could help, and he did! He helped put my husband back into his bed. RecommendedI was hospitalized for COVID (Delta strain) in August 2020. I spent 297 days in five hospitals fighting for my life. My last stint of 30 days was at Encompass. What a blessing these people were to me! Their Physical and Occupational Therapists were caring, compassionate, yet constant….Constantly pushing me forward to my goal of being released and back to wholeness. RecommendedMy husband Jimmie Bellamy eas there for Physical & Occupational Therapy they helped him tremendously... HealthSouth provided us a private room so I didn't have to drive the long distance. I want to say Ty to everyone who played apart in Jimmie's therapy....
RecommendedMy mother, Frances has been at Health South since Christmas Day. We are going home today!!!! Just wanted to say thank you to the entire staff. Everyone has been wonderful to her. What a blessing.
Significant other had bilateral subdural hematomas. Had surgery and had weakness to his right side. Came to encompass for rehab. Has to work with rehab daily, but nursing staff won’t get him up to bedside toilet because of his right sided weakness. So it’s a bit confusing what they want. They won’t get him up to the bathroom, but gets up and works with therapy. He can’t go home if he can’t go to the bathroom.

I don't recommend this place at all. I'm sitting here now with my dad and he has another week here. I will be contacting and writing Medicare, Medicaid and any other health cara provider about this place. Just couple things: Only two housekeepers on the weekend so the rooms are dirty and nasty. No sanitation spray to make the rooms smell good. I'm not going to say to much on here. If you care about your love one's, find another facility.
