I had a broken hip and spent 2 weeks there and felt that the place excllent in every respect. the place is immacultely clean, the staff well trained and dedicated to fixing whatver physical problem you have The pt trainers are excellent and the nursing care is also. the food was excellent compared to other hospitals in RI and I've been in 5 of them. i highly recomend this facility to rehab.

When I entered Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Johnston, RI, on 5/6/2026. I knew I'd regain my strength. Heather's professionalism and warmth were the perfect introduction to the program, My primary trainers, Bethany and Katherine were very special. Each one had her own unique method that helped me make maximum progress. Doctors and nurses consistently monitored and worked to enhance my progress. OUTSTANDING REHAB! Best in Rhode Island. Great staff, good food, fairly new,clean facility, large private rooms, friendly atmosphere. everything you need as you recoup.. I've been to several rehabs in the past and this is your best choice! A+++++

My mom recently was here for 2 weeks. The place is brand new and is definitely one of the best rehab facilities in southeast Mass/RI. The nurses here are superb and very supportive. The care they give is truly what is needed. The PT and OT were spot on and definitely what we expected. I highly recommend this location even if you have to drive 30 minutes, etc.

Have a lot of concerns about level of rehabilitated support services being provided to a family member - the nursing staff was great as well as other services being provided, but the one thing that was needed most - PT and OT was a fail - sorry to say that because I think THEY (the PT and OT staff) thought they were doing a great job but it was a fail. You really need to look into hiring more qualified people to handle PT and OT. We are now right back to where we started when our family member was first admitted - devastat... read more
