They treated my father very well. And they were very helpful. The staff was very nice except one CNA but all over all it's a great place . They helped a lot

I was utterly surprised to find Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg's rating is 2.5. However, I realize ratings are based on number of review responses. So, I decided to Rate & give Review. I'm going to take excerpts from a Thank You letter sent to Encompass Health to tell how thankful, grateful, and appreciative I was for the all-ENCOMPASSing care received while hospitalized at Encompass Health, Mechanicsburg 6/27-7/9/22. I was utterly surprised to find Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg's rating is 2.5. However, I realize ratings are based on number of review responses. So, I decided to Rate & give Review. I guess I'll be the first one to write a review for HS. I was here for 2 1/2 weeks after neck surgery in Jan. and everyone from the girls and guys in PT/OT to the drs (I had Dr Li- sp?) and the nurses were AWESOME!! My apologies for being a tad bit grumpy and frustruated , though. :) I had just had major surgery! But, everyone else , (aside from the nurses I had the first night (incomptent, rude, etc. Filed a complaint w/ nurse manager about them) was alot more caring and attentive. They whipped me back into shape again! ... read more

Where to start? Well, It starts at the top. And, it's the same Management there now as when I was there - sociopathy may not be the best word, but psycopathy might be. The wrong medications, ALL the time. Would they change them - Hell No. Because if they change the medication, they see that as an admission that they were using the wrong medication - SO, keeping using the Wrong One. Proof - I ordered and received the 1,000+ Medical Report after discharge to see what they were actually using. BTW, the bogus list of me... read more

My husband went there after a knee operation and was 82. He developed a very serious UTI after being put in a diaper and was not encouraged to eat his food. He was found one morning barely breathing with very low blood sugar and was sent to Holy Spirit Hospital and is not awake or responding- the outlook is very bad we are heartbroken. Encompass says they are short of people. We would like to sue. Carla Bender
