Unfortunately this is a repeat stay for me. The previous stays have been okay, and the therapists wonderful, last time my case manager lied multiple times to myself and my husband. That case manager is no longer here, thank goodness, but this stay has been like playing a game of telephone with 20-25 different people. I have had to reexplain our family situation and the obstacles we need to work around to every single person. Patient arrived at this facility able to walk and was alert... Patient left with a broken hip, UTI, pneumonia and 103 fever. Not recommend for anyone. Nurses left patient in bed for 3 days with broken hip. Family had to demand patient be taken to emergency room. Facility never took x-rays and barely provided care for patient.

I recently spent a week at HealthSouth Tucson, AZ and was very disappointed. I had three roomates after being assured that I would get a private room. I think a rehab facility should have private rooms for patients. Consequently I got no rest and even spent a night in the conference room because my roomate snored so loudly. The food was terrible. The physical therapy was so so and out of all the therapists I felt only one was well qualified. I had to spend several hours in occupational therapy which I did not need. Phys... read more

No stars. First of all, A loved one was admitted BACK to ICU after becoming septic at healthsouth when a wound was not cared for. Patient care should always come first, this coming a medical professional. Clothing was obviously never removed or else her wound would have been noticed! Secondly, why would medical staff hand over the patient's belongings to family if there are used IV bags, tubing, and IV catheters in the same bag as cell phone, glasses, etc.?
