I've never been to an acute rehabilitation hospital and really wasn't sure happened in one. After falling over two dozen times over a 4 month span of time, I landed in Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital. The facility was brand new. Opened in September 2021. Thank you Encompass Health Rehabilitation staff for taking care of our mother for the week. Although the facility is new and beautiful, the people are who make you so good. Our case manager K was an excellent communicator and resource. The daily staff was attentive and professional. It was well worth driving an hour and half to your location. Mom is doing great at 91 years old and we can not thank you enough. Jim her son

Absolutely the best facility I have had a family member in, hands down. New facility with the most friendly and professional staff we have experienced. Food is actually super as well!

The employees of this facility speak to critically important issues for the family and client that they have no experience and have no business speaking to. This facility cost us money that it should not have cost us because they advised us incorrectly as to how a movement from their facility to a skill nursing facility would happen and convinced us it would get approved by insurance.... Which it did not ! We will be filing a complaint was the State of Florida AHCA

The administration was hateful and not at all helpful. They forced us to take a stroke patient home to a house that had nothing for a disabled person. We asked for two weeks nursing care to get our house ready. They would not even consider it. I'm sure it would hurt there home discharge stats. They did not care what was best for the patient. The therapists did a good job. I would not recommend this facility. Every door is locked. It is like a prison and no one wants to talk with you. Had to give one star because zero is not ... read more
