my 88 yr oldmother was in encompass for 11 days in Toms River location for a broken hip. It was an excellent experience. the PT Maggie and the OT Lara were excellent. they pushed my mom and were caring and helpful. the Dr on staff Dr A is warm and available as well as for us as a family. Highly recommend them!!

My Dad suffered a stroke three months ago a week after his birthday in April.People don't understand strokes as much as other conditions I've learned that much. When my dad was being released after the hospital Encompass was the best place that offered hours of rehabilitation, great doctor's that actually call you back,and nurses that love their job.The place is very clean and they handled my father wonderful, he's very stubborn and this stroke took from him his favorite things. I am a right leg below knee amputee. I was admitted to Encompass in October of 2023 to learn how to live with and cope with one leg. Fast forward to February 2024, I was admitted again to learn to walk on my prosthetic! Let's talk about how amazing this place is. From the janitor, to the nurses and aids, to the therapists to the doctors and my case manager, everyone was amazing. I fell like Encompass truly only hires the best. I was extremely satisfied with the care that I received during my nearly 1 month stay following a recent stroke. I wished that it could have lasted longer. The rehabilitation professionals were highly qualified in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. I was always treated with respect. I made the decision to put 100% of my effort into the therapy to enable me to get the most out of it that I could within the time that I was there. My father was admitted after being treated for a minor stroke. The entire staff is caring and wonderful. The rooms are big and in fact they were much bigger than my father's previous hospital room. There is also plenty of parking. The facility is small, so patients interact with the director who oversees their care. It was recently refurbished.

The staff was professional and friendly. The food was very good and generous even though they are working out of temp kitchen during remodeling. They work with patients and check on them diligently. The facilities overall are updated. Just remember to dial a 9 for outside line and showing that to whomever is staying there so they do not feel alone.
