I have several pieces of furniture from Ethan Allen. My experiences with this company have always been positive. The sales associates have understood my taste and have guided me through my decision-making. My I latest purchase was for a single armchair, a relatively small item, but I received the same attention that I received for my larger purchases at another store. I am completely satisfied.

I had a terrible experience with trying to purchase furniture at the Houston, TX Post Oak location, the salesman (who informed me, to my face, I was effecting him financially by not buying all the furniture he recommended) and the manager both tried to tell me that I only had 72 hours to inform them that I did not want any one item listed on the order form that they email to you, however the terms and conditions are only on the back of this form, that you only receive on the back of the mailed copy, way past the 72 hour dead... read more
We purchased complete living room furniture, plus indoor sunroom furniture and carpeting. We had bought our previous furniture from Ethan Allen 25 years ago and loved every minute we had it. Now we are in a new home and needed to buy all new things again. The quality is no where near what we had grown to expect. The rug is showing wear in front of the seating areas and the furniture is all uncomfortable. The cushions are over filled so you always sit high. Rude Employee – I dropped by Ethan Allen on Monday, February 16th, close to closing time to find a large desk for my study. One employee in particular (a thin woman with short brunetter hair) asked me a few times if I needed anything. I told her I did not. She told me about their catalog about 3 times while I was in there. Ethan Allen furniture Gallery Raleigh NC – 95% of our furniture is from Ethan Allen. Over many years we have added furniture always going back to EA. In the rare times we did not we regretted it. However when we moved to the Raleigh area we went to the Raleigh gallery and it was the worst experience of our lives. The "decorator" mocked our choices in our new home right down to the knobs on our cabinets. Ridiculed our older EA pieces and made the most ridiculous suggestions for our new home.
