This was my first visit to the Carlsbad Everbowl location. I've visited a few different ones throughout San Diego County in the past, so I'm familiar with the selection of bowls and smoothies. Generally, the quality is pretty consistent across most of the locations. Why three stars for this one? I ordered a large Evergreen smoothie. I was given a poorly blended smoothie, with visible fruit chunks and spinach flakes, that was impossible to sip through the straw. Acai bowls are always great, but paying over $40 for them is rough. Really nice girl working there though!

Great to be back, great delicious acai bowls! The service was quick and everyone is very patient. The ambiance of the place seem calm and friendly.
I usually love this place but have to say something: today was the third time in less than two months that I went in and they had no Acai. Isn't that primarily what you serve? One time I went to the Encinitas location right after and they had it. It's just weird. My biggest gripe is that they don't put a sign on the door, they still ask you what you want at the counter, and it's only when you try to order a normal Acai bowl that they tell you they don't have it. I couldn't agree with you more, to be out of acai at an acai store is beyond unacceptable. So as not to burden you with excuses, we will simply own this one as a major mistake and rectify it immediately. Thanks for letting us know, and sorry that you had this happen again.
My father visited this Everbowl today to order an açaí bowl, but no one was behind the counter. He called out for assistance several times and even stepped outside so the doorbell would alert staff--still no response. After waiting about five minutes with no employees in sight, we left without being able to place our order. Really disappointing service.

I finally was convinced to try a "smoothie/açaí bowl" I was in the area and the kids really wanted to get açaí bowls and I finally decided to try one. I had the everbowl with dragon fruit instead of açaí, as I thought the açaí was too sweet....sub bananas for pineapples. It was different, but not bad, just seemed like a chunky smoothie with granola. The staff was very friendly and helpful in letting sample the base choices. I probably would try it again
