I used to really enjoy everbowl because of the customization you could do to your base and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. With their switch to pre frozen sorbets, it is awful! I do enjoy some bowls that use the acai roots pre frozen sorbet, but whatever everbowl is using is not good. It has a weird slimy texture that leave a bad after taste in your mouth. Usually a bowl leaves you feeling light and refreshed, this bowl left me feeling a bit off and like I had way too much sugar. The employee said the reception towards... read more
Everbowl used to be my favorite acai place in san diego. always had fresh fruit, could customize my base and friendly staff. went there the other day and the acai comes out of an ice cream container and is not good. staff was not friendly, and they have changed their menu, removing popular items that can't be ordered anymore. now I need to find a new place that actually has fresh fruit for their acai bowls
Use to love this place. Havent had Everbowl since pre pandemic till today. Place is wack now. They don't make the Acai fresh anymore. Is pre-made, bland, and gross. If your into that then this is your place. Ever bowl needs to go back to their old ways cause this shit is garbage.
I went for my first visit since the pandemic began and was disappointed in the changes to the menu, the product and customer service. I was looking forward to the freshly made açaí base and the signature bowls they used to offer. I thought that maybe it was just my experience at the location I went to but have now heard this is a company-wide change. I hope Everbowl will consider returning to their original business model that so many loved.
Today was my first time going back to everbowl since they changed their menu/ingredients in their bowls and WOW. I am in LOVE with the new acai! It is SOOO much better than the previous acai! I'm obsessed. I can't wait to go back! The 2 girls that were also working today (I didn't catch their name) were so sweet and informative explaining the new menu. Definitely amazing customer service.
I'm at work and ordered a Large Everbowl thru the app (from the nearest store, Hibert St.) and this is what I got...don't get me wrong, it's still good but when I order from my home store (Bonita Rd.), I definitely get what I pay for. This seems like a medium order in a large bowl...
I've been here a few times and while it's not the best, it's the closest to fresh açaí bowl that is convenient and close to me. The prices have really gone up from my last visit. I'd say it's average as far as taste and freshness. Nothing really special. I've had better.
This was my 2nd time ever coming to everbowl and I guess the menu change so I was pretty confused lol anyways I just asked the girl if she can make me the everbowl bowl with extra extra peanut butter and she was able to do that for me so thank you!! At this location, only 3 people can be inside at a time and they take card only.
Update review since the owner fixed the times! Great customer service. We came and ordered a few bowls and they were delicious, one of my favorite açaí bowl places in the SD area.
