I've been here a few times and while it's not the best, it's the closest to fresh açaí bowl that is convenient and close to me. The prices have really gone up from my last visit. I'd say it's average as far as taste and freshness. Nothing really special. I've had better.

Although my order was ready, the online process was clunky. The shop was oddly empty on a warm Saturday--an early red flag. Sadly, the açaí bowl confirmed it. The fruit was slimy as if it was coated with something, the açaí overly sweet, and the overall quality was poor. Easily the worst I've had--and I've had many around the world. Would not recommend. Since I was visiting La Jolla it was worth a try.

Wow. Where to begin. I came in at 1:00 PM on Saturday 2/1/25. One person was working and there was a huge line. I ordered 3 smoothies, which with the current promotion comes with a free toast. Well, this location has ONE outlet! So you could either be toasting OR making ONE smoothie at a time! Then you have to go wash out the blender after each smoothie. 30ish minutes later we left 3 smoothies and 2 toasts - we couldn't wait any longer. So while the food is good, they have 1 plug for both smoothies and toast and can't make them at the same time. And they only have one single blender so they need to go back and wash after every single smoothie order. Come on guys do better for your employees.

Smoothies are undrinkable. If you think it's healthy, you mistake. It's a bit of fruit, 3 scoops of ice cream and milk for $10. it's ridiculous. Service was not motivated.

We got the regular açaí bowl and they were out of blueberries so I asked what they were going to replace it with, and he said I had to pay a dollar extra if I wanted something it's place. I paid the dollar extra for the kiwis and they ended up being super slimy as well as the strawberries. The strawberries tasted like they were starting to ferment. My husband asked for peanut butter and he did not get any although we paid the extra for it as well.
