Repairs to kitchen lights Did requested repairs efficiently. No concerns about work. Have used Expert Electric before and would use them again. As has occurred on previous visits from this company, examined switch breaker box, etc. I was surprised that this time had concerns never raised by previous workers from the same company.

Receptacle and thermostat replacements Was quoted for $440 worth of work. The guy started and half way through said he got a text and had to go to another site. Charged me for half and left. What kind of business is this? Called in and spoke to a "manager" who passed the blame on the electrician and said there was nothing he could do except book another time. Had I known he did not have the time to do the full job I would have gone with another company to do the entire job instead of now having to book and spend another day ... read more

All things electric in our Appartment great fix! We live in Appartment which we renovated. Added new microwave stove they ran new wire from electrical box. They have replaced wall outlets; assessed our use of electrical devices to ensure all our TVS Computers and heaters are up to code and we never blowout another fuse. The service fellow 'Mike' wore shoe cover while working in our place to protect our haRd wood floors. Great job Mike each time I call for service I ask for Mike...

Awesome but expensive I chose Expert based on their high rating on Homestars. I was not disappointed - the company responded right away and sent an electician on the day I requested. A small job (swapping out a bedroom light fixture and fixing a ceiling pocket light in the kitchen) took 2 hours. Although I was very impressed with the service and the work done, it was expensive. Electrical Very pleased with hamid I think his name was. The first man that came to do the estimate of the unit that needed a lot of work stayed just a few minutes and speeded through 2 floors and basement and said we needed new wall electrical outlets. Seemed an odd thing to say when so much obviously needed to be done. He said he would send an estimate. When I eventually phoned to see what was happening I was told he couldn't do any work as there was too much stuff in the way. The unit was trashed but there was no furnitur... read more

Lighting Had 1 dual switch light placed on a timer. Had one bathroom fan placed on a timer. Had one dual switch overhead light placed on a dimmer. Price included the dimmer switch.

hot tub Inadequate assessment and needless work: Circuit breaker to hot tub tripping immediately, called Expert Electric for inspection and assessment. Recommended new powerline. Only when the replacement cable didn't solve the fault, we were advised calling a hot tub specialist. On a positive note they came around promptly and the electrician worked hard.

Installation of new line for induction cooktop and installation of LED lighting. Froilan Florendo from Expert Electric assessed our panel capacity and ran a new 240 line from the basement to our kitchen, causing the least damage to the gyproc in routing the line. He vacuumed and swept up all debris and was equally fastidious when we had him install 2 new LED lights in our kitchen and LED track lighting in our hallway.

Connect heaters and thermostat Very polite service, unfortunately over $900 for estimated 2 hours of work, labor only no parts that is simply not acceptable. Would never call recommend or trust them ever again.
