I don't often do Yelp reviews, it's generally only when I'm really happy, or really upset with an experience I've had. This is the latter. The office is decorated nicely. Okay. But that's the only positive I had with this experience. The dentist was VERY PUSHY for me to get sedation, even though I was totally clear I wasn't interested in that. I do have a gag reflex, but during his examination (however brief) I didn't have any issues with it, so I'm not sure why he kept telling me he couldn't work on my teeth without full ... read more

I've been looking for a new dentist and received a call today from Nancy and as soon as I pick up she says "let me call you back" then hangs up on me.... Keep in mind I have no clue who this is yet. Then she eventually calls me back and asks what my name is? You should know my name because you called and hung up on me. I asked her who this was because I was pretty sure it was a spam call and she says she's calling from Exquisite Dentistry and asks what my name is.... First impression is always important and this experience ... read more

Had my root canal done at this place. I don't recommend. Treatment plans were never explained, crown options were not provided. Treatment plans were asked to be signed when laying in dentists chair. Any other legal forms or signatures were also offered right before the service after I laid down. When I asked if I could choose crown materials, I was told there is no other options besides Zirconia. I was double charged for a single crown. They also tried to push for deep cleaning before any treatment. My husband has a to... read more

Glad I followed my gut and got a second opinion; this guy missed a HUGE problem going on with one of my molars. Go somewhere else!

Gah, I really don't like leaving bad reviews but every time I think of my visits I get really annoyed... I'll give them props for customer service and friendliness, but... I've had about 4 dentists in my life. My usual exams don't take more than 1.5hrs excluding paperwork... My first visit was almost a whopping 3 hours! Not including paperwork. This happened for my bf's appointment too. But hey, paying $8 to park with no validation, you might as well use up your time... They have Netflix so pick a movie. A long movie -lik... read more

I've been getting annual or semi-annual checkups and care of my teeth for decades. I went to exquisite dentistry a few years ago. I was told that I had several cavities (I can't recall how many--but lots more than ONE), and was advised to have lots of work done. Years have passed, I've had numerous X-rays, and to this day--still NO CAVITIES. I was shocked to be told that my mouth had decayed to that horrible condition (having relocated, I was looking for a new dentist). I don't believe the evaluation was correct--and i... read more

I have since moved from the area, but went to Dr. Aguil for a year or two. While I was there I always felt a bit like he was trying to fill a LOT of teeth. I.e. I had been to the dentist within a year of seeing him and had maybe 2 "watch and wait" cavities according to that dentist. In Aguil's office, they rolled out with 16 or so cavities on my "plan"! It seemed like a ton to me-- but they assured me I need not fill them all at once. So we began filling them by region-- 3-4 at a time every six months. For the first vi... read more

After consulting with another billing company, the over billing is a fact - or rather - the selected items for the bills are overlapped across several items, especially for a same day billing. As a result, I cannot use my benefits this year due its 12 mon / 6 mon policy per item listed that are available to me. As a patient, I am not educated about how billing thing works like most, and only find out next year that you abused my insurance policy, and as a result it prohibited me from taking advantage of it in the following... read more

We normally don't share specific patient information because we take patient privacy seriously. However, since you have shared specifics, we would like to address your concerns. Dr. Alexis Aguil does a great job at cleaning, but he does not seem to care for patients who do not have dental insurance and may have financial concerns. He made me feel a bit uncomfortable throughout my visits and missed two cavities during a cleaning because he did not feel the need to tell me since I previously was concerned about payments on former cavities. I decided book an appointment for a couple fillings and a week later, his office called and cancelled saying that I would be better served by another dentist.

Business response:

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. Because Dr. Alexie Aguil holds your privacy in the highest regard, he cannot speak to the issues that led us to our decision. However, we can say that Dr. Aguil takes a pro-active approach to preventative dentistry. Our patients can trust they will always be given the best options for treatment because we don't let insurance coverage dictate the best course of treatment for underlying diseases or conditions. We also honor every patient's choice. However, if a patient refuses ... read more
