Good place to stay for a reasonable price I have stayed at this hotel more than once. The front desk personnel were helpful and friendly. I liked having the kitchenetee available to use. Wi-fi is available for a modest one-time fee.

Value for your buck This hotel is not the Taj, obvously. But it exceeded our expectations. For an aged hotel, we found it to be very clean, comfortable, and safe. We faced the back, and it was extremely quiet. The statff was unbelievable; particularly Lucus. We stayed at the hotel for my daughter's college visit; if she decides to go to school in this city, we will become regulars. If you like Mexican food, go to Fiesta's about three miles away by the Kmart (very tasty and inexpensive).

Clean hotel, fine for parent weekend stay Stayed here for a parent weekend. The children had no problems with the comfort of the beds but the adults definitely felt the mattresses were uncomfortable if you have a back problem. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the hotel was quiet and located on the main street, convenient to restaurants and the two college campuses. I would recommend it for a short stay.

basic accomodations, nothing more The carpets are pretty worn out. The tv was very small and had a twitchy picture. no shower curtain. All the room lights were a blueish CFl and made the lighting very industrial. The staff was very nice though. It's a little hard to get to the hotel- sort of back behind a gas station and a burger king even though it can be seen from the main road. A cheap room, nothing more.

Nice for the Price I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I noticed this visit that the stained carpet outside elevator on 2nd floor had been cleaned since my last visit. No complaints.

Average, get what you pay for Although the hotel did smell a bit funny in the room and on the second floor, it was clean and decently maintained. No frills, you get what you pay for. The one thing that I didn't like was the "no wake-up calls" policy since they put alarms in the rooms. The alarms were rather sketchy, as in old and not sure if they would function.
