More for long term stays... I was looking for a hotel near to Salem, as I had an event to get to, and I like being as close to where I need to be as possible. I had not heard of this hotel before, and finding it was a little difficult. It is in an industrial park, which does not help its location on the face of it. But for the most part the area was well landscaped, so you'd not know. The hotel was very clean, and the room was well appointed for long stays, inc. a fridge, and kitchen. Almost like home Recently I've had to stay at extended stay hotels due to a new job that hasn't allowed time for apartment hunting. My last experience was less than ideal, so I had no expectations when coming to this hotel (they are in the same chain of hotels). I have to say that this hotel is really like a little community. An over all "great" place to stay. The Homestead was one of the greatest hotels we have ever stayed at. Friendly people and the rooms were great. We will for sure stay there again.

Great room for the price. We just wanted a nice night alone. This hotel was perfect. It had a kitchenette and everything. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean. Will definatly stay again soon.
