Fair value Good value (less than 1/2 a normal Chicago stay) was complimented by friendly staff. We happened to arrive the night of a welcoming reception (pizza and desserts). Only minuses were revelers in the next door room wanted to keep the party going when they returned to the hotel at 1AM one night and they ran out of regular coffee for the coffee maker one morning.
The stay was simply okay at best. Personnel were good. As soon as we entered the room, we spied a spider climbing the wall. Beds were extremely noisy. Probably not a place I would stay again.
Perfect for the day I needed a room to work out of for the day while my kids were at Six Flags. Couldn't ask for a better location.
Great stay! This was my second stay at this hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ladies at the front desk when I arrived were extremely helpful, and I felt like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The room itself was great, very clean and had no strange odors like most hotel rooms. Also, the location is perfect, within walking distance of several nice restaurants and a quick cab ride to the Gurnee Mills mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the area.
Fair stay Some took our Do Not Disturb Sign, and someone tried to enter in the middle of the night. A/C unit was LOUD
convienient Rooms were very nice. Hotel staff(Lynn) was very helpful and really seemed to like her job. I really feel she went beyond what she had to do to accomodate us.
It was clean and nice but the beds were to small and hard.
Not bad for the price We were just looking for an affordable place to stay within walking distance to Six Flags (it was a bit of a hike, I'd say over a mile to the park gate, but not terrible) and that's what we found. Room could use some updates, but overall fairly clean. Staff was friendly, but hotel did lack amenities like a pool. Having the kitchen in the room was nice for a longer stay, but there were very few dishes. I would recommend just bringing disposable plates and forks.
