EW getaway It was a great "Home-base" to come back to after a busy day. The Only thing I missed, is there was No blowdryer :( so many hotels have them, that I never thought to pack one.
Fantastic Really close to the Covington bar scene. The room had all things for a long weekend. Stove, sink, ironing board plus great service. The cincinatti traffic sucked but the hotel is right off the interstate. You like like to party this place is really close to the historic Covington bars. Curtious staff and a clean room. Will definitely stay again right across the river from all the sports complexe's.
convenient to Ohio and Ky. sights.. Even though the facilities are older, it was well kept, staff was helpful and very courteous. First place we have stayed at that had adequate lighting in the bathroom to see to put on my makeup..Very convenient to restaurants and the local sights and the casino.
Onions... oh, my, the onions! When I first arrived, I quickly realized the neighborhood wasn't the greatest. When entering the hotel, no one was at the desk. I waited about five minutes, until I got tired of carrying my bags (while in heels), and peered around the corner. Just as I was about to wander around looking for an attendant, one came in with his coat on and drink in hand (maybe a "Be Right Back in ? Minutes" would have been nice). Good where it counts The lobby and hallways were dingy and dark and the front desk staff seemed amateurish though friendly. Once in the room that all was forgotten. Though not fancy, the room is nice. Enjoyed the real stuffed chair (not just decorative like some places)and a good bed. The kitchen with a full size fridge you expect at an e xtended stay place relieves you from trips to an ice machine.
