Underwhelmed experience Check-in was scheduled for 3p. Arrived @ 3:30p. Room not ready until 4p. Clerk stated they were busier than normal (Tuesday afternoon). Clerk said' "I don't know." when I asked if there was an event in town that was causing the capacity issue. Once manager arrived, I heard the clerk ask the manager how many people had called in sick. So... long story short is that I was told they were busier than usual but truth was that they were short staffed (lied to initially). Room was labeled as non-smoking but ... read more

badly needed fixing the room was somewhat old and needed a makeover.. the toilet was clogging daily, and the very friendly and competent maintenance man came the first day to snake the toilet. Fortunately, he left the plunger in our room, as we used it daily. the toilet was a top button flush and just didn’t have the water pressure.. the main room carpet was absolutely filthy with black stains, so awful that our socks were black in the bottom. Comfortable surroundings, pleasant property, accommodating "Guest Services" personnel day & night , clean grounds, plentiful pet turf, central "south" location with freeway access just a couple blocks from hotel simplifies travel to/from central Denver, housekeeping on point with fresh linen & towels, hotel Manager says "hello" with a smile ... "Thank you" to all of you, I appreciate your "nice".
