We wanted a suite with a full-size refrigerator and will accommodate our puppy: we got this from Extended Stay West Des Moines at a reasonable price plus more! Our bed was comfortable, the a/c works great, and most importantly, the guest relations staff was all nice. They were accommodating and helpful. The location is great for us too. If I have to pick the cons, it was the exercise room not being available.

We are staying for 10 days i wish I only knew what I know now about this hotel. It has to be the worst extended stay hotel I have even seen. Upon checking in it took over 30 min for someone to come to the front desk. The room it self was dirty there was no kitchen utensils the pillows where paper thin. I asked for some utensils and was told I could purchase them for $60.00. I also asked about pillows and towels and was charged another $20.00. Service was amazing. I believe his name is Larry at the front desk, great dude super helpful! Rooms were decent and the location is perfect. The only issue I had was water bottles/food containers under the bed from previous guests. But other than that the room was pretty clean. Staff friendly and will definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you for your hospitality!

The best place to stay long term. The rates are great, they left you keep your pet here (for a fee) and the rooms are spacey and feel like home. The staff are great and very attentive and it's got a laundry and an exercise room. All your needs are taken care of here. It couldn't improve one bit! It's got wifi and cable, the beds are really comfortable and the furniture is very classy...this place takes care of every need I have. They do not have a pool but after all of that you don't need one.

I have been on multiple extended stay. This is the worst. If I could give them a Zero, I would. Their customer services are horrible. According to their policies, someone will come and clean the room and change the linens every 2 weeks; no one ever came. The water from the sink in the kitchen is going to the water in the sink in the bathroom, and little flies are coming from it. When I asked them to change the room, they told they can't. The only thing that is working correctly is the bed.
