Functional for longer stay Very convenient for our week-long stay. We were able to have our 4 year old grandson stay with us and it really enriched our stay in Fairbanks. Kitchenette was great.

pet friendly Staff was very nice but room was not clean. Across the street is a from a strip club and could see strippers/hookers going in and out of the hallway into different rooms. Was not discreet at all. I did like that you could have your pets and is one of only a few places in town that you can. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

great hotel poor location Was satisfied with the clean room and hotel. beds were comfy. after a shower the room stayed humid like a locker room. Too bad that the location is across street from a strip club. we didnt worry about our car and stuff in it much until we saw a meth addict panhandling as he passed through the parking lot. No one parks at the strip club, they park at the hotel lot and walk over to the club.

Excellent No Frills Yes, the pool was defunct, half the washers and dryers in the laundry room were out of order, and the neighboorhood was less than desireable. BUT Extended Stay in Fairbanks is exactly what it's billed as -- an affordable, comfortable, long-term lodging solution. Everything is expensive in Alaska in the summer, so the rates at ES are better than most. There aren't any glitzy parts of town in Fairbanks, so you really aren't going to find a "nice" neighborhood for a hotel. Most hotels in Fairbanks don't have... read more
