Excellent No Frills Yes, the pool was defunct, half the washers and dryers in the laundry room were out of order, and the neighboorhood was less than desireable. BUT Extended Stay in Fairbanks is exactly what it's billed as -- an affordable, comfortable, long-term lodging solution. Everything is expensive in Alaska in the summer, so the rates at ES are better than most. liked it alott but no pillow cases I liked this place but it was doesn't have closed closets and its only closet was open and extremely small but I liked that it had a mini kitchen. The pillows didn't have any pillow cases on them when we arrived and I had to get them from the front desk which is no big deal but the next day the maid cart didn't have enough towels to give us so we waited an extra day for those. My hotel stay was good room was comfortable. But the first night the fire alarm went off about 4 times and I needed to be at a conference early.

Very Good Hotel This is a great hotel near the airport but a little further from downtown than most may like. It's in a rundown neighborhood with a strip club right next door. Currently the pool and Jacuzzi are being renovated so that was a reason why I scored low on condition...of the hotel itself.
