Extended Stay Deluxe in Fairbanks, AK This hotel is great for travelers who want to stay a long period of time in one place (i.e. 7 nights or more). The rooms are equipped with full kitchens complete with everything you need. The hotel is within walking distance of a very large grocery store. I only stayed 2 nights and overall the stay was positive. The negative comments I have to make are that there was a fairly strong pet odor when I entered the hotel. Questionable Location There were no issues with the hotel, but the location left a little to be desired. It was located directly across the street from a rather seedy looking "gentelman's establishment".

They should not charge for internet access - most hotels don't Breakfest should be better quality and internet should be included with the price like most competitive hotels do.

Friendly Staff The hotel staff was available and friendly. Breakfast consisted of fresh bagels w/ butter and jam, 2 types of coffee, cocoa, large apples, Quaker oatmeal packs. Laundry had 4 washers and 4 dryers at $2 a load. 2 of the 3 exercise equipment weren't working during our 10 day stay. Pool was open 9 of 10 days. fairbanks central I went to Fairbanks to visit my son in the military And chose this hotel because of the studio With little kitchen figuring this would save Money. It did! I was even able to make him a Home cooked meal! The staff was very friendly and helpful with Anything that came up and all questions, all Times of the day and night. Centrally located next to everything! Even Grocery store and of course all activities and Restaurants! I would definitely recommend This place and would use again in the future!

Great place especially if you have your pet with you I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was really nice and super friendly. We had a dog and cat with us and it was comforting to know that they trusted us to take care of them like decent responsible people unlike many hotels that you go to where they treat you like your pets will just ruin there hotel. The lobby was an unexpected great place to visit with people visiting and or working in Alaska....I never expected to enjoy even the simplest time of my visit in the lobb... read more

shuttle from airport As they say in the add they do provide either a shuttle or a cab to the airport. It is across the street from a strip club. The breakfast is a joke is was a bagel and coffee there are other hotels for a little more money that are nicer but no shuttle service.
