hotel in flux Hotel changed names from homestead suites, between booking and stay, making it a bit more difficult to find. The rooms were decent, but not very meticulous on the cleaning. The front desk staff was very nice.

Average Nothing special, nothing bad. Stayed here because I was visiting New Paltz and everything there was booked (I booked late and it was parents' weekend at the college). My only complaint is that the non-smoking room smelled smoky. Otherwise, it was fine for a night. Also, it's not called Homestead anymore; they renamed it America's Extended Stay.

The hotel name that I reserved under had changed, so instead of the building being called the Homestead it was called the Extended Stay. This was confusing to make sense over at 9pm at night. The check-in people were nice. The room was not layed out well and it was tight even though it was a 2 room suite. Had to request a 4th pillow for 4 people. There was no breakfast, which really shouldbe a minimum.

great for one night stay while traveling very clean and service was great. personnel and workers there were very help full. and would recommend it to any one. kitchen had every thing needed to cook and very close to restaurants and shopping.

... Clean rooms in a convenient location. Easy access on/off the freeway, close to shopping and dining.

Good jumping point for seeing FDR home. small one bedroom suite, decor was a little outdated. Lack of services, no service after midnight, but friendly staff. No gym or pool which was a bummer for a family with small children. Would stay here again.
