good overnight stay over Due to a business emergency I needed a place to stay and was pleased to find a room at Extended Stay America - Fremont. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet.

What I needed This is not a five or four star hotel, however it provided all the amenities we needed, and the room even had a kitchenette! Bonus! It was clean with a fresh interior design. The complimentary breakfast was coffee, fruit and muffins. Free wi-fi. It can be a far walk to your room if it happens to be close to the end of the wings. Some nearby restaurants, otherwise you'd need to drive a little further. Great for an extended stay.

Review The mattress in our room was very old; bent out of shape, stiff and made a lot of noise. Front desk person was very friendly. No conditioner in the ameneties basket. Bath tub was clogged. Every thing else in the room was nice.

One time stay The hotel room is old, cleaness is acceptable, but no cups for water drinking. The front desk staff is nice though.

Average Hotel, Exceptional Staff The property was average for this kind of hotel-extended stay with only weekly cleaning. The room was clean and comfortable, spacious even. The hallway, however had a particular odor. I'm not sure if it was a musty smell, or if some of the guests cooked slightly malodorous food nightly (rooms are equipped with kitchens). Good location Easy access to freeway and shopping place. Room is clean. Staff are friendly. Wifi is free but slow.
