Need a better breakfast variety. A muffin and coffee isn't enough... Especially for the price we pay

Short stay in K.C. The hotel was not anything special but a good deal if you are only in town for a short period of time. One thing that was odd was that when you needed fresh towels you had to bring them to the checkin desk and trade for clean towels. The staff was helpful and nice. The hotel seems a bit older but is not a bad stay.

The Ac in the doom didn't work and several staff members told me to just find someplace else to stay since I complained.
Two Star, No Frills! The stay was last minute, therefore it was great that it had a convenient location and was inexpensive...it was what I expected for a two star hotel. The continental breakfast included coffee (which I don't drink) and brand "X" mini-muffins and nothing more. I did expect some fruit or juice at least. The drapes in my room were literally falling off the wall, but I checked in so late I didn't want to change rooms; the phone in my room didn't work, so I had to walk to the front desk to report the issue...t... read more

we arrived at 945pm, and the front desk clerk was spacey. I was not sure if she had been drinking. It took her 10 min to check in my room that was prepaid? I left the hotel at 4:30am for my flight and the front door was locked so I had to walk around the hotel looking for a door to get out to the front of the bldg to get to my car.
