Great room with full kitchen Full kitchen with full size refridgerator freezer, microwave, a stove, and all of the dishes pots and pans in a huge new room. Great wifi. With lots of pillows in different firmness and construction to please anybody. Big table for working at and hotel is in great shape. There are restaurants right in front of hotel too. Nice workout room. I loved it.
All Okay, but the tub This hotel was pretty nice. I've never stayed at a Candlewood before. The room was clean except for the tub. The tub was kind of nasty.

Candlewood Suites-Mcalester OK Hotel is brand new and rooms are spacious with a full size fridge. Hotel was priced better than just about all of the other hotels in the area. Still smells new.
Very nice hotel One of the nicest hotels in the area, a continental breakfast would be really nice. We will come back.
Felt like home to me. This room had its own little kitchen which I loved plus the fact that it was smoke free. They let u have animals there and worked on a honor system which u don't hear of at all. I can't explain it all in just a few words, you'll just have to go and check it out for yourself.
Hotel The hotel was nice but I booked a king room (which I paid more for) and when I arrived, they didn't have any available. I got a much smaller room with no discount or refund.
Surprisingly nice. I was happy to find such a nice, economical hotel in McAlester. It was a nice experience.
Nothing to really do in McAlester We went to McAlester, OK for family. We couldn't find much to do at all in town other than drive around looking for anything to do. A catalog at the hotel mentioned a museum for the town, but it was no longer open. There is a prison, but that's about it. If not for the family event, we never would have gone there and we will absolutely never go back. This hotel is the only positive thing we found there.
