Just make sure your room meets your needs. The Extended Stay Hotel is not a bad place. The management keeps it fairly clean and there were no bugs! My problem was they assigned us to a smoking room even though we had requested a non-smoking room. The first night we stayed in it but the next morning I asked to be moved to another room. I think the only rooms designated as non-smoking where on the first floor and there are less rooms on the first floor than any other. Going Downhill I've stayed at the Extended Stay four times over the last 4 months, and it's going downhill when it comes to cleanliness. Yes it was rainy last week, but the stairwells were filled with chunks of mud day after day and no one bothered to at least sweep. The kitchens in the rooms look like they rarely get a good cleaning too, with spilled food in the cupboard in the room I checked into. I keep staying here, though, because there is a shortage of hotel rooms in West Mifflin. But if there were an affordable option... read more

Good for price Seemed to be a place for extended stays. I was just overnight, but my regular hotel was full. This place fit the bill for my need.

Good Business Hotel I spent two nights at this hotel while in town for a work project. I like that the rooms have small kitchens- it is nice to be able to make my own dinners rather than eat take-out or fast food every day. A temp gym membership is included each night- I made the most of it and spent my evenings taking classes and doing cardio at the gym right up the street. south hills, pittsburgh it was just a bed for the night. we had to see relatives in the hospital, and we only had the week end. I will say that it was clean and very quiet, and that was most important to us.

Great Price, Average Stay Spent the night in PA visiting friends and just needed a place for the night. With the full kitchen and king bed Extended Stay was easily the best price. You just have to keep in mind you get what you pay for... the bed was very hard and lacking the number of pillows most places would have waiting for you and the towels felt like they could almost pass for sandpaper (but they did dry really well).
