Our stay in Melbourne Check in was ok. Room was new and clean. Sheets had a stain on them but other than that appeared clean. This dish towel had been used and was dirty. At the breakfast bar there were no forks or spoons anywhere. The clerk found 3 in the employee break room and brought them out. No unsweetened cream for coffee. We tried to let the clerk know these things at check out but she really wasn’t interested in hearing it.

Meh It was clean and quiet, but my frustration was with the front desk. Im a travel nurse. I will be here for 13 weeks and was looking for a place to stay the duration. When I arrived I was told the Hotels.com card was declined, even though I payed for the room. Delaying my check in at 10 PM at night when I had to be up at 4:30 am. The girl at the front desk seemed confused, I ended up leaving to find food because I was getting close to loosing it. I don't understand how that was my problem? Nice place overall. Unfortunately our room was above the back exit door which slammed closed everytime it was used
