Things were rocky off the bat because they couldn’t find our reservation. The call at the front desk was super nice though and directed me on what to do. She ended up having to call her boss down who was off the clock, but he had no problem helping us. They both were so nice and kind. A couple hours after we checked in the safe in the room started beeping and we couldn’t get it to stop. When we went downstairs they offered us a new room right away which we greatly appreciated. Even though the hotel is well maintained and 24/7 armed security. The hotel has found itself in a part of Portland where society is breaking down. It is no fault of the hotel BUT it does change the experience when the parking lot amd surrounding area is full of homeless people. They keep to themselves but can be an uneasy feeling walking to your car at night

The guys in the front desk are very friendly. And it seems like they just remodeled so everything was super clean and nice.

Pretty cool place in north Portland Big rooms and clean beds! I had no problem finding this hotel and checking in at night after a long drive. I liked the free breakfast, though one of the mornings, it wasn't stocked as much! However, free coffee and snacks are always a great thing. Don't let the area around Burger King spook you :) it was a fun trip and a short drive to downtown.
