Weekend at the Extended Stay West Valley Bottom floor smelled of cigarette smoke. On the way to the room on the first floor many dogs were heard barking from other rooms. Requested and received a room on the second floor. No cigarette odors and could not hear the dogs. Room was clean but rough around the edges. Light stains on the carpet, scuffs on the walls, etc. Not dirty, just worn. The tub drained well, the shower worked, and there was plenty of hot water. Perfect location to Mavrick Center Enjoyed the stay. The hotel is the perfect location to walk to the Mavrick Center for the hockey game. I also thought the ability to walk to the local bars and eateries was great too. Theater with amusement center (mini golf, arcade, kids dream...) Wonderful stay. Will stay again.

Extended Stay Americas Overall stay was very pleasant. Location was what we enjoyed the most. Close to great restaurants and access to freeway and airport. I made the mistake of booking a "smoking" room. The smoke smell was overpowering. Kept window open during our stay.. I will be more careful in the future. We would stay at this hotel again when visiting Salt lake, Utah.

Stinky Supposed to be a non-smoking room, but the stale smoking odor was intense.
