work trip good hotel for price. Would recommend. Only down fall now room cleaning unless you pay extra.
nice place, good location, not kept up properly My check in was pleasant. The room at a glance looked clean, until closed inspection. Under the bed there were old bags of fast food and fries. AS I Attented to cook my meal. The first stove fan did not work correctly. It would sick the air aND throw it back through another vent. The room got filled with smoke from my cooking and the fire alarm went out. Windows were open but didn't help. bathroom fan did not work at all. Worked for my stay. Surprised that there were none of the usual hotel in room amenities. One small shampoo, no conditioner, no lotion, no hair dryer, only 1 washcloth,1 small hand and bath soap. Guess being an extended stay facility, the concept is we bring everything we might need. I though it would be more like a timeshare with basic items. I left a pre-paid night early as I would have to either go out and make basic purchase or move on.......move on I did.
To start off, I was the familiar with area. I wanted a hotel less than 20 miles from Santa Cruz, ca. Online information on expedia stated it was about 16.23 miles. Wrong more like 44. It had a kitchenette, no coffee maker, no cups, no utensils,or pots and pan. We were able to go to front desk and get these things but seem like such a hassle to them. It was a dog friendly hotel.
