Good option If you don't want to pay the rates for Historic Savannah this is a good option. It is a straight drive into main downtown and close to food and shopping. It should have been cleaner though.
Kimberly, desk clerk was SUPER NICE and went over and beyond call of duty to make guest feel welcome. On the 3rd floor, on way to room smell was terrible, trash room on corner. Room nice and clean.
Good value at a convenient location. We only stayed overnight, but the extended stay room had a small kitchen which we didn't use. Probably because the rooms have refrigerators, the hotel did not have an ice machine. The room was nice-sized and clean. TV was a flat screen HD model with plenty of cable channels. good to have a kitchen but place needs updating Nice bed which is important to me. I slept well. The sink handle was stripped and took some effort to get the flow off. Very little water pressure but enough to take a shower though a little slow. The room had a strong smell. Not sure if they allow pets in all rooms but that would explain it.
Near downtown and shopping/restaurants. Needed somewhere to stay for the weekend while visiting downtown savannah and Tybee island. Great location for the price and room condition. Near lots of restaurants and shopping. Less than ten minutes from downtown savannah. We got to Tybee island in around twenty minutes. Room was not bad, but the beds where a little stiff. Very quiet though and very friendly front desk staff. Morning breakfast is coffee and some minor grab items, but better than nothing. Would stay there again.
Staff = Great; Bed setup, not so much. My wife and I went to Savannah for an overnight/ day trip. The hotel was good enough for our purpose. However, the bed was smaller than expected, and the mattress was definitely uncomfortable (it was hard and raised in the center, down by the area of the knees). There were no extra blankets in the room, and the staff is non-existent after a certain hour. Also, the AC unit blew cold air well, but consistently, throughout the entire night, the sound of rushing water could be heard coming ... read more
