Disappointed, expected a pool, no such luck! Disappointed. Only nearby item of interest is the Kroger grocery store. Each room had a kitchenette, 2 full beds, bath, old TV. The kitchen included 2 old bent forks, 2 similar spoons and knives, a can-opener from the 1940's, a broken toaster, and a partly broken microwave (you had to push pop-corn, etc., and then count the second yourself and yank open the door to stop). Make sure to stay 7 days or you'll be your own hok The hotel was conveniently located off 85, easy to find and affordable. What really sucked however was that we were notified that housekeeping was only available if you stay 7 days or more and even then you have to pay extra to have your room cleaned. The hotel is also pet friendly which I discovered when I moved the bed to make room for my 1 year old to play... There was a pet turd under the bed. Smells bad and has bugs I recently spent 2 nights in this hotel - March 16-17, 2012. The location is good. It’s in a business park so it’s fairly quiet at night. The hotel appeared to cater to mostly a business clientele. However, there were bug in my room. One night I woke to a roach crawling through the bed. Another time I also had a beetle crawling across the ceiling in the room. As with most extended stays that have kitchens, the smell was unique. Extended Stay-Clairmont, Atlanta The third floor hall had a strong odor, probably from the old carpeting. In the room, the kitchen faucet dripped steadily and the bathroom fan rattled. The property is kept clean, but maintenance is needed. I expected an extended stay hotel to be nicer looking and have cleaner or newer carpeting.

Extended Stay America Atlanta - Clairmont I am one who tries her best to balance what I hear about an establishment to my actual experience. After I drove to this Clairmont area, it appeared to be a pretty good area...lots of corporate offices and a few apartment complexes. Because it was so close to other nice hotels, I thought, "how far off could this be". When I checked in, I found out that my King bed reservation was no longer available after paying for this reservation in full / in advance. They could only offer dbl bed... read more

Extended Stay America Atlanta - Clairmont reserved a non-smoking room, got a smoking room. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. No shampoo in the room. Hotel policy not to supply shampoo..

Extended Stay... ONLY if you HAVE to. With walls as thin as paper and a toilet that just runs and runs and runs, Extended Stay on Clairmont is EXACTLY why the "extended stay" type of hotels have a bad reputation. No front desk personnel to speak of. You have to pick up a phone and wait for them to show up. When I checked out I had to slide the key under a partition at the front desk window because there were no front desk people. The ONLY reason that I stayed there was because I was "trapped" in the neighborhood where I work... read more
